Setup

Set the seat so your knee is slightly bent at the bottom of the pedal stroke.

  1. Setup: Set the seat so your knee is slightly bent at the bottom of the pedal stroke.
  2. Setup: Sit tall. An upright bike is kinder on the back than a hunched spin bike.
  3. Start pedalling easily as the timer begins.
  4. Build to a hard pace (about 8/10 effort) within 10 seconds.
  5. Hold that pace for the rest of the 45 seconds.
  6. Get off and go straight to the next exercise or rest.
